I had a serious craving for a Japanese Cuisine today, so all i made was teriyaki Chicken, Tempura Vegetables and Sushi Rice. Beautiful combination!
For Tempura you can use pretty much anything, but in my today’s selection- sweet potato, french beans and broccoli.
Ingredients:
Flour plain- 1 cup
Corn flour- 1/2 cup
Sparkling chilled mineral water (I love San Pellegrino)
Sweet potato (small)- cut in long thin strips
French beans- 5-10 pieces trimmed
Broccoli- small head, broken in florets.
Oil- sunflower or any of your choice around 8 cm deep.
Directions:
I used to make it in a deep fryer ( was much easier) but it couldn’t take pressure and died, so i am just using a pot now.
Heat and oil in a pan or deep fryer.
